What is a property manager?

Many investors have considered real estate as part of their portfolio but don’t want to deal with the issues of a landlord.  A property manager’s profession is to deal with these issues.  The property manager is the liaison between the property owner and the tenant.  A property manager can handle everything from finding the right tenants to collecting the rent.  The property manager handles the maintenance issues and pays the bills.  The property manager takes care of as much or as little as the investor wants.  The investor’s involvement can be as much as performing their own maintenance or as little as just receiving the proceeds. A property manager is ideal for the absentee investor.  With a property manager, investors can diversify their real estate portfolio with property anywhere in the state, country, or the world.
